“The best time to plant a tree is twenty years ago. The second best time is now.”

― Chinese proverb

Rates

My fee structure is based on the belief that everyone should have access to healing, regardless of income. I realize that people have different abilities to pay based on a number of circumstances, many of which are beyond our control. I offer a voluntary three-tier payment program. You may choose the tier that is most suitable for you (see below).

This is voluntary and in no way influences the support you will receive. My goal is to provide all of my clients with a positive and empowering therapeutic experience. If your current circumstances makes the cost of Tier III a barrier to seeking support, please reach out to discuss how we can make this possible for you. I offer a number of sliding scale spots within my practice.   I do not require any documentation or proof of income when arranging a tiered payment or sliding scale. This will be negotiated during your complimentary initial consultation where we will agree on the hourly rate for one-to-one services.

Many Extended Health Plans cover services from Registered Social Workers. Please inquire with your provider(s) if this is permitted within your plan. Detailed receipts are provided at all sessions, which can be submitted to your insurance providers for reimbursement.

Deep Roots Counselling is situated in Toronto, Ontario, lands that for millennia have been occupied by many First Nations including, the Mississaugas of the Credit, the Anishnabeg, the Chippewa, the Haudenosaunee and the Wendat peoples.  Today it is home to many diverse Indigenous, Inuit and Métis people.
Toronto is covered by Treaty 13, the Toronto Purchase and the Williams Treaty.

At Deep Roots Counselling I believe that it is crucial to not only acknowledge First Nations, Inuit, and Métis people for their care of this land, and teachings about the earth and our connection to it, but also to actively and intentionally honor those teachings through our relationships today and every day hereafter.
We commit to moving forward in the spirit of partnership, collaboration, and reconciliation, as we learn together and contemplate the possibilities that lie ahead.
